Job Description
About TAS
Technology Alliance Solutions, Inc. (TAS) is a modern consulting and technology services firm that helps organizations transform how they manage customers, data, and operations.
We specialize in unifying CRM, ERP, marketing automation, and cloud systems into a cohesive, scalable digital ecosystem. Our team delivers enterprise-grade clarity, discipline, and execution—empowering businesses and public-sector agencies to modernize confidently and achieve measurable outcomes.
TAS operates at the intersection of strategy, architecture, and delivery. We combine deep platform expertise with the rigor of an enterprise consulting practice to design solutions that eliminate fragmentation, strengthen operational workflows, and support long-term digital transformation across enterprise, state, and federal organizations.
Role Overview
TAS is seeking a Business Analyst to lead requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and traceability for a high-visibility CRM and case-management modernization initiative supporting a Texas state agency.
This role is focused exclusively on business analysis, requirements definition, documentation, and traceability in support of a configuration-first CRM implementation. The Business Analyst serves as the authoritative owner of business requirements, ensuring stakeholder needs are clearly captured, documented, traceable, and validated throughout the delivery lifecycle.
The Business Analyst works in tight, daily coordination with the Functional Consultant to ensure documented requirements translate into configuration-first system behavior within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service. This role is critical to maintaining clarity, scope control, and acceptance readiness in a public-sector environment where documentation quality and traceability are paramount.
This is a full-time, fully remote role, operating within an onshore delivery model.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary owner of business and functional requirements for CRM and case-management modernization
Lead stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions to elicit business needs, policies, and operational workflows
Document requirements using clear, structured artifacts, including business requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria
Work in tight daily coordination with the Functional Consultant to ensure requirements are translated into configuration-first solutions and preserved through design and build
Establish, maintain, and govern the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), ensuring every business requirement is traceable through configuration, testing, and final acceptance
Document and manage requirements for Legacy Data Transitions, including mapping of historical case records, reporting needs, and records retention considerations
Document and manage requirements for the Intake and Triage (A-Desk) workstream, including constituent request intake, classification, prioritization, and routing
Maintain requirements traceability across design, development, testing, and UAT
Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) as the mandated system of record for managing requirements, user stories, backlog items, RTM artifacts, and supporting documentation
Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and review activities by clarifying requirements and acceptance criteria
Validate delivered functionality against documented requirements during system testing and UAT
Ensure all requirements and documentation comply with Texas Administrative Code (TAC) §213 and Section 508 accessibility standards
Produce and maintain high-quality documentation suitable for audit, governance, and formal acceptance
Support controlled change management by assessing requirement impacts and updating traceability artifacts accordingly
Required Skills & Experience
U.S.-based candidate (onshore delivery requirement)
4–7+ years total business analysis experience
3+ years on CRM, case management, or public-sector systems
Proven experience owning requirements traceability (RTM)
Proven experience serving as a Business Analyst on enterprise CRM or case-management initiatives
Strong experience eliciting, documenting, and managing requirements in Agile delivery environments
Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs)
Proficiency using Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage user stories, backlog items, acceptance criteria, and traceability
Experience documenting Intake, case management, routing, and constituent service workflows
Strong ability to translate stakeholder input into clear, actionable, testable requirements
Experience collaborating closely with Functional Consultants to support configuration-led implementations
Excellent written, verbal, and facilitation skills
Exceptional attention to detail and documentation quality
Preferred Experience
Experience delivering solutions in state, federal, or public-sector environments
Familiarity with accessibility, compliance, audit, and records-governance requirements
Experience supporting large, highly visible CRM modernization initiatives
Public-sector experience is strongly desired, but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000 (commensurate with experience)
Benefits: Full health benefits, PTO, 401(k), and a fully remote work environment
