    Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to support our software development teams in delivering high-quality products. The ideal candidate will gather and document requirements, translate business needs into clear technical specifications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities

    Requirements Gathering & Analysis

    • Work with stakeholders, product owners, and end users to identify business needs and translate them into functional and non-functional requirements.
    • Conduct interviews, workshops, and research to validate requirements.
    • Analyze existing systems and processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.

    Documentation & Communication

    • Prepare clear and comprehensive requirement documents, user stories, acceptance criteria, wireframes, and process flows.
    • Maintain documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
    • Communicate requirements effectively to developers, QA engineers, and leadership teams.

    Project Support & Collaboration

    • Collaborate with software development teams to clarify requirements during implementation.
    • Serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams as needed
    • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups as part of an Agile team.
    • Conduct impact analysis for changes or new features.
    • Support QA in test case creation and participate in UAT.

    Process Improvement

    • Identify inefficiencies in workflows and recommend process enhancements.
    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to product development and delivery.

    Data Analysis

    • Analyze data, metrics, and product usage trends to provide insights that inform product direction.
    • Create reports and dashboards as needed.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
    • 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in a software development or technology environment.
    • Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
    • Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in requirement documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).

    Preferred

    • Experience with creating process diagrams (e.g., BPMN, Visio, Lucidchart).
    • Familiarity with API documentation or technical specifications.
    • Experience working with UI/UX teams or familiarity with wireframing tools.
    • Industry certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, Scrum certifications).
