Be part of a mission-critical technology effort supporting child welfare services across Indiana.
Our client’s Information Technology team supports the systems that help child welfare professionals serve children and families across the state. This includes MaGIK, the Management Gateway for Indiana’s Kids, which is composed of KidTraks, an internally developed .NET system, and Casebook, a software product from Casebook PBC. The broader application environment also includes Salesforce, MuleSoft, Tableau, and other internally maintained platforms that support child welfare operations.
This role is an opportunity to serve as the bridge between child welfare operations and technology delivery, helping ensure critical systems are reliable, responsive, and aligned to the needs of the people who depend on them.
The Business Analyst will provide advanced business and technology analysis for software systems that support the ongoing goals and mission of our client’s Child Welfare program. This role works at the intersection of program operations, system functionality, process improvement, and IT delivery, helping translate complex business needs into clear requirements, workflows, documentation, and system solutions.
This position will work closely with central office staff, regional managers, field office directors, supervisors, family case managers, IT managers, software development teams, quality assurance teams, systems support, project managers, vendors, and other stakeholders. The BA will play an active role in discussions, solution design, issue resolution, testing support, and project execution.
Because the child welfare application environment supports essential services on a 24x7x365 basis, this role requires sound judgment, strong communication, technical depth, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex enterprise system environment. The work has meaningful agency-wide impact and supports timely, effective, and reliable service delivery for child welfare professionals and the families they serve.
Translate program needs, user feedback, and operational priorities into clear technology requirements and actionable solutions.
Support the full software delivery lifecycle from analysis and design through testing, implementation, and production support.
