We are seeking a senior BA with extensive experience in requirements elicitation, process documentation, facilitation, and government agency projects.

Title : Expert Business Analyst

Location : Albany, NY

Duration : 24 Months

Client : New York-based

Rate : $48/ Hourly

Key Responsibilities:

The Expert Business Analyst will be expected to provide Business Analysis support for the client Transformation program.

· Use recognized business analysis methodologies to elicit requirements from business users

· Attend meetings, facilitate, and lead requirements sessions with team members

· Communicate efficiently the business process requirements to IT staff, program staff and stakeholders

· Develop and document Business Requirements

· Develop, analyze and revise system diagrams (flowcharts, state diagrams, strategy maps, etc.) as needed on the project

· Ensure that requirements and deliverables are verified and validated at the analysis and testing phases

· Track and fully document changes for functional and business specifications

· Demonstrate Business Analyst processes and techniques to other team members

· Participate in developing test plans for the project to ensure that program requirements are met

· Create status reporting mechanism to monitor the status of the above activities

Qualifications:

· 84+ Months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

· Preferred Qualifications:

· 84 months of experience using fundamental Business Analyst processes, methodologies, tools, and techniques and adapting them to the organization.

· 84 months experience in eliciting and documenting business requirements/rules from project participants.

· 84 months experience in ensuring that requirements and deliverables are verified and validated at the analysis and testing phase

· 84 months experience in analyzing and revising system diagrams (use cases, flowcharts, state diagrams, strategy maps, etc.) as needed on the project

· 84 months experience in facilitation of gathering requirements from 30 or more project participants, including tracking and communicating those requirements

· 84 months experience working with a governmental agency.
