Business Analyst (Chicago IL)

Our client, a reputable financial services firm in Chicago, IL is seeking a Business Analyst to join their growing team. The Business Analyst translates business needs and helps ensure outcomes align with organizational objectives, compliance standards, and operational readiness. We are seeking candidates in the Chicago, IL area who are comfortable commuting into the office 2–3 days per week. Ideally, candidates will have 2–5+ years of professional experience, working exposure in the financial services industry, and the compensation range is $130K–$150K.

Responsibilities

• Help ensure outcomes align with organizational objectives, compliance standards, and operational readiness.
• Lead end-to-end requirements gathering and documentation, analyze current and future processes, and ensure traceability from business objectives through implementation.
• Partner with project managers and stakeholders to define scope, prioritize requirements, plan milestones, and align technical and data needs with engineering solutions.
• Support agile delivery by clarifying requirements, participating in sprint ceremonies, coordinating UAT and defect triage, and contributing to operational readiness and training.
• Ensure solutions meet compliance and security standards, track key performance metrics, and support change management through communication, training, and stakeholder readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required
• 2-5+ years of business analyst experience required
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Working proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Commutable to Chicago IL office 2-3days per week.
