    Riega Foods, LLC., is a family owned and operated organic herb, spice, and spice blend manufacturer in Kansas City, MO. We are a fast-growing company looking for a Business Analyst to join our team.

    The Business Analyst will work with teams throughout the organization (including sales, supply chain, production/warehouse, finance and marketing) to analyze data and create/maintain dashboards that deliver key insights and allow the organization to make fact-based decisions. We are seeking a highly organized, detail oriented and data driven individual. This position is full time and in-person, with flexible hours between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.

    Job description and responsibilities:

    • Develop and lead improvements in standardized reports and new reports (including data visualization) for use by sales, supply chain, production/warehouse, finance and marketing teams
    • Use internal and external data to create, prepare, and maintain databases and tables to power reports, dashboards, predictive models, and downstream analysis
    • Collaborate with sales, supply chain and customers on forecasting and planning efforts to produce an accurate supply-demand and related financial forecast; monitor forecast to actuals.
    • Conduct analysis for company performance versus industry trends
    • Analyze value of individual retail and industrial opportunities
    • Develop fact-based product, customer and category selling stories using internal and external data to grow sales
    • Regularly prepare and present findings to various stakeholders

    Qualified candidates will have:

    • Experience with building complex data sets across multiple data sources to derive insights
    • Prior experience in analytics and/or BI tools, including experience building visualizations in popular big data platforms (Power BI, Tableau, etc.); advanced abilities with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
    • Analytical experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry preferred, but not required
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Presentation skills and proven ability to convey complex analytics into actionable tasks, to stakeholders at a variety of levels
    • Self-motivated, self-starter, strong work ethic
    • Passion to contribute at a high level in a team atmosphere; strong customer service orientation
    • High level of integrity and attention to detail
    • Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
    • A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
