    Job Description

    As Business Analytics Analyst, you will support recurring reporting, dashboard development, ad hoc analysis requests, and work closely with senior leaders to ensure the timely delivery of accurate, business-critical insights.

    This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, building insights, and supporting operational and financial reporting across a global organization.

    _ This position will offer some flexibility for hybrid work schedules to include both in-office presence and telecommute/virtual work to be based in Dallas, TX._

    Key Responsibilities:

    Analytics & Reporting

    • Build reports and dashboards within existing toolset.
    • Support monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
    • Execute ad hoc analyses in response to business questions or leadership requests.
    • Turn reporting requirements into clear and easy to understand datasets and visualization outputs.

    Data Management & Analysis

    • Work with large and complex datasets to identify trends, variances, and business drivers.
    • Perform data validation and quality checks across multiple systems and sources
    • Develop clear, concise summaries of analytical findings for stakeholders.

    Stakeholder Support

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial and operational reporting.
    • Provide support that contributes to decision-making at various levels within the organization
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field plus at least 4 years of experience in a data analytics, business intelligence or financial analysis role or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
    • Report & Dashboard Design – ability to developing intuitive, scalable, and insightful reporting solutions.
    • Comfortable working with large datasets and performing analyses
    • Basic financial concept understanding; knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, and performance tracking.
    • Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical partners.
    • Intermediate Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, and data visualization
    • Experience with BI and dashboarding tools.
    • Strong analytics curiosity and eagerness to learn new tools.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with similarly large, complex organizations
    • Experience with large datasets and enterprise-level reporting systems is an advantage.
    • Experience with Power BI or equivalent BI tools such as Cognos Analytics, Tableau or Qlik
    • Experience with Python for data analytics would be a plus
    • Demonstrated ability to work with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Familiarity with Sharepoint, Microsoft Teams and Project Management tools.
    • Experience with a professional services or consulting firm organization (and the metrics used to manage this type of business eg WIP, utilization, etc.)
