    Job Description

    OVERVIEW

    The Systems Analyst is responsible for executing upon various projects that support the Analytics team with the implementation of new systems, process standardization, auditing, analysis and communications. This position will also be responsible for working with the Director of Business Intelligence and Vice President of Analytics on strategic planning, program design, administration and procedural developments for Spring Venture Group.

    REPORTS TO

    The System Analyst reports to the Sr. Manager, Integrated Analytics in the Analytics Department.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES

    The essential duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

    • Develop and implement tools and methodologies to help departments identify, understand, and prioritize the most pressing business challenges.
    • Mine and analyze data from varied datasets, databases, and disparate internal systems.
    • Transform SVG data into actionable intelligence to aid in decision-making.
    • Responsible for designing and documenting solutions for complex internal business problems for automated systems solutions.
    • Consistently search for new opportunities to optimize individual departments via data analysis.
    • Consult with different departments to determine potential solutions in order to drive system changes and enhancements.
    • Apply creative thinking in the use of Tableau dashboards and systems in the development of business processes.
    • Consolidate information into cohesive and understandable correspondence or other written form for use in management decision-making.
    • Validating the accuracy and integrity of database tables.
    • General understanding of data administration states, python code, etc
    • Assist in managing database tables and pipelines

    Education/Experience:

    • Successfully demonstrated 3+ years’ experience working in an Operationally focused role.
    • Bachelor or Associate Degree
    • Professional certifications not required, but welcomed

    Skills/Specialties:

    • Intermediate SQL
    • Strong analytical knowledge and abilities.
    • Self-sufficient in problem solving & troubleshooting
    • Proficient in Excel and Google sheets.
    • Exposure to data visualization tools, e.g. Tableau or PowerBI
    • Exposure to coding languages, e.g. Python, R
