Business Assistant

This opportunity is open to both full-time and part-time candidates, including graduate students looking to gain meaningful professional experience while completing their studies. In this role, the Business Assistant will work closely with executive leadership and support a mix of market research, data analysis, client follow-up, cold calling, business development, and broader business priorities. This is a developmental opportunity for someone who wants broad exposure to how an international trading organization operates and the chance to grow under experienced company leadership.

The ideal candidate may be right out of college or currently pursuing a graduate degree, but must bring strong curiosity, passion, eagerness, and the ability to learn quickly. An interest in global markets, commodities, trading, or related business environments is important, along with the motivation to take initiative and grow into greater responsibility over time.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research and data analysis to support leadership and market-related decision-making.
• Support executive leadership with general business priorities and provide flexible support based on evolving needs.
• Follow up with clients and help maintain consistent communication and relationship development.
• Conduct cold calling and other business development outreach to support growth opportunities.
• Build knowledge of market activity, trading operations, and the broader business.
• Learn from experienced company leadership and develop business and trading capabilities over time.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree, current graduate-level enrollment, or recent college-level experience; recent graduates and graduate students are encouraged to apply.
• Strong curiosity, passion, eagerness to learn, and motivation to grow within the business.
• Sharp, adaptable, and willing to contribute wherever needed in support of business priorities.
• Interest in global markets, commodities, trading, or related business environments.
• Comfort with market research, data analysis, client follow-up, and business development activities.
• Ability and willingness to conduct cold calling and proactive outreach.
