We are looking for a life insurance agent with an entrepreneurial spirit and amazing customer service skills to join our fast-growing insurance agency and help our clients achieve their financial goals. You’ll serve on the front lines of insurance sales, helping new customers navigate our products. We are directly responsible for handling asset protection and Insurance benefit options for Local, regional, and various organizations from Police departments, School Board of education officials, and Multiple Government agencies at the local and state level. Our ideal candidate will embrace the opportunity to drive sales among existing clients and new clients through a mix of networking, referrals, PR marketing strategies as well as Social Media platforms. (THERE IS NO COLD CALLING, NO PURCHASING OF LEADS, NO RELYING ON FAMILY AND FRIENDS) Responsibilities: Identify new client insurance needs, insurance risk, goals, current coverage, and financial situation by scheduling meetings for new customers, ensuring a personalized experience Process current policyholders’ insurance claims while monitoring the status of existing insurance claims Expand our prospective customer base and market our insurance products via including networking, referrals, cold calling, and various marketing strategies to bring in new business Ensure all contracting paperwork is up to date while maintaining databases, records, and bookkeeping Address existing and prospective customer requests in a prompt and friendly matter, including booking new meetings and responding to inquiries regarding billing, eligibility, coverage, claims, and insurance policies Qualifications: Candidates with an active Life & Health insurance license are strongly preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office products Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must Previous health insurance or life insurance experience a plus Previous customer service or experience as a sales representative preferred Compensation: $50,000
