    The Opportunity

    We’re seeking a hunter—someone who thrives on new business generation, who is driven by opportunity and uncapped earning potential. If you're motivated by meaningful relationships, have a passion for community banking, and want to build something with real buy-in from leadership, we want to talk.

    As a Business Banker, you’ll focus on C&I lending, deposits, and treasury solutions for small to mid-sized businesses across a range of industries—from wholesalers to retailers to service providers. You’ll manage your relationships, but you’ll be measured—and rewarded—on your ability to bring in new business and grow the book.

    This is not a legacy portfolio role. It’s a pure business development opportunity in a wide-open, fractured market—with no turf wars, no red tape, and real runway.

    What You’ll Do
    • Source, structure, and close new C&I loans, including term loans and lines of credit.

    • Grow core deposits and partner with Treasury for holistic client solutions.

    • Identify, call on, and win new business relationships with small and mid-sized businesses in Middle Tennessee.

    • Serve as the primary relationship manager—ensuring clients are supported, while focusing on growth.

    • Work with a collaborative credit team to get deals done.

    • Bring in $5MM–$10MM in new loan volume annually depending on market (with kickers for exceeding targets), and $1.5MM+ in new deposits.

    Ideal Profile
    • Proven experience in business banking, commercial banking, or small business lending.

    • A natural hunter mindset—this role is built for someone who loves to sell and wants to be paid for everything they bring in.

    • Track record of originating C&I loans, generating deposits, and managing full banking relationships.

    • Strong understanding of credit fundamentals and relationship management.

    • Motivated by uncapped earnings—you understand the potential and are driven to outperform.

    • Comfortable navigating a community bank environment—entrepreneurial, hands-on, and mission-driven.
