Last year, Transworld’s top advisor scored more than $3 million, and every year 15 or more exceed $1 million. At least 250 or more of our agents exceed $100k every year in gross commissions. Results vary based on effort, experience, market conditions, and closed transactions. Can you sell a free appointment with a business owner or buyer? Can you earn a business owner’s trust, listen carefully, take good notes, and convince them to sign a listing agreement with no upfront cost? Can you prepare compelling information about a business, follow up with buyers, arrange meetings, help negotiate offers, and keep a transaction moving toward closing? If so, you may have what it takes to become a Transworld Business Advisor. A real estate license is not required to sell businesses in Nebraska or Iowa. Licensed advisors may also earn commissions from related real estate transactions. It’s a great path into commercial real estate for those who already have or may want to get a license. You’ll have the independence to build your own practice with support from an established brokerage network. Full-time preferred, but part-time options available. You’ll manage client relationships, buyer activity, negotiations, due diligence, and transaction coordination from listing through closing. What You’ll Do Build relationships with business owners and buyers Secure business listing agreements Market businesses confidentially and professionally Advise clients through sale and acquisition processes Facilitate negotiations and deal structure Coordinate due diligence and closing activities Manage multiple clients, prospects, and transactions Build local referral relationships Qualifications: Who We’re Looking For The most important skill is consultative sales ability. You must be able to earn trust, ask good questions, sell appointments, secure signatures, follow up consistently, and help people make major business decisions without high-pressure tactics. Many advisors come from backgrounds including sales, banking, financial services, commercial real estate, insurance, business ownership, executive leadership, accounting, legal services, and consulting – and from many other backgrounds. Ideal candidates have strong communication, time-management, networking, and relationship-building skills. They are self-motivated, ethical, comfortable with technology, able to maintain confidentiality, and committed to learning. Professional Requirements Relevant professional experience is highly valued. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. A real estate license is not required. Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 yearly
