Position Summary:
The Business Central Process and Reporting Analyst is responsible for supporting and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to meet the specific requirements of the company. The Business Process and Reporting Analyst will lead MS D365 process improvements, implementations and integration along with playing a critical role in successfully deploying and ongoing support of the system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with business end users and IT team members to identify and understand any existing problems and opportunities to improve the Business Central environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MS Business Central processes, functionality, data, and integrations.
- Document current processes including requirements, specifications, or integrations to ensure comprehensive knowledge of the current environment and interactions with other systems.
- Develop and implement process improvements for existing MS Business Central functions.
- Provide training and support for team members on Business Central functions and processes.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports.
- Develop and execute unit tests to validate the accuracy and integrity of reports and dashboards.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements and new features in MS Business Central, incorporating relevant knowledge into daily operations.
- Adhere to and ensure compliance with all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
- Follow the official policy for Good Manufacturing Practices as required in the Medical Device Amendments to the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act.
- Provide feedback and proactive communication to supervisor, management, and co-workers to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Process administrative matters without problems to maintain up to date records.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Two years' work experience in Business Central systems support and report development.
- Understanding and knowledge of data structures, data entities and data models.
- Financial/Accounting, Manufacturing, Sales, and Supply Chain Knowledge.
- Preferred knowledge of PowerBI and PowerApps, Logic apps, etc.
- Medical device industry experience preferred.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and user guides.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the public as required.
- Microsoft Certified MS Dynamics 365 Business Central desired.
