MKTG/BUS. COORDINATOR
I. Position Objective
Contribute to the development and implementation of the Polyolefins Business Unit- Business Development plan, with focus on utilizing organizational resources in marketing, technology and manufacturing. In alignment with Corporate Strategy and Polyolefins Division Focus Objective; assist in the development of business/increase market share, maximize sales opportunities.
II. Major Areas of Accountability
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PLAN: Assist in the analysis and creation of the business development/marketing programs, sales planning, and continual profit forecasting and analysis; make recommendations and adjust action and planning.
SALES AND MARKETING: Integrate, collaborate, and coordinate with internal (BTD, product management, manufacturing) and external customers to support effective sales and marketing plan delivery. Examples: Build relationships with new accounts, conduct new product assessments, and other supportive sales training, plan and develop promotional events/presentations, develop product literature and communications, and maintain product datasheets.
PRODUCT MANAGEMENT AND PRODUCT SUPPORT: Assess product development, in improvement or profitability needs, and make recommendations. Initiate and coordinate product introduction and lead market penetration actions. Support product awareness. Assure that customer functional and regulatory product requirements are understood, verified, and met.
MARKET RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS: Conduct ongoing market research and analysis to identify new sales opportunities. Assess surveys and data and identify trends. Perform ongoing analysis to support diverse Company marketing and sales programs, with emphasis on New Product Development.
