    Job description:

    AIC (Accident Insurance Company) is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth through the acquisition of new insurance agencies and the expansion of existing accounts. You will leverage your expertise in outside sales, account management, and B2B sales to identify opportunities and develop strategic relationships. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a customer-centric approach, and a passion for technology sales.

    Duties

    • Develop and execute strategies for lead generation and territory management to maximize sales opportunities.
    • Conduct cold calling and direct sales efforts to engage potential clients and build a robust pipeline.
    • Manage relationships with existing accounts while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
    • Utilize CRM software, such as Salesforce, to track interactions, manage leads, and analyze sales performance.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to align business development initiatives with promotional campaigns.
    • Deliver product demos to prospective clients, showcasing the value of our offerings.
    • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
    • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process to ensure client satisfaction.

    Experience

    • Proven track record in business development or outside sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
    • Proven success within the insurance industry including but not limited to workers compensation, general liability, property and casualty, and medical and health.
    • Familiarity with technology sales and technical products is highly desirable.
    • Experience in account management, including territory sales and inside sales strategies.
    • Proficient in using CRM software for managing leads and tracking sales activities.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on negotiation and relationship building.
