Job Title: Business Developer – Landscape Maintenance Division

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:Proactively identify, target, and secure new commercial landscape maintenance clients across Greater Cleveland
Develop and manage a sales pipeline, forecast opportunities, and execute a disciplined follow-up strategy
Perform takeoffs and estimates using SiteRecon and internal estimating tools (custom software currently in beta)
Collaborate with account managers to transition sold accounts into production smoothly
Work with leadership to align sales goals with company capacity, operational readiness, and long-term strategy
Track all activity in CRM and report on sales KPIs, pipeline health, and conversion metrics
Uphold the company’s values of integrity, quality, and long-term relationship building in all interactions
3+ years of sales experience in the commercial landscape maintenance industry (required)
Deep knowledge of estimating, proposal development, and closing processes
Strong local network in the Cleveland area — especially with property managers, facility directors, and commercial real estate
Proven ability to generate $800K–$1.2M+ in new annual revenue with high client retention
Highly ethical and motivated by long-term success over quick wins
Experience using takeoff or estimating software (e.g. Aspire, SiteRecon, Attentive)
Self-starter mentality with a collaborative mindset and strong follow-through
Base Salary: $80,000–$90,000 (depending on experience)
Commission: 3–5% on top-line revenue (negotiable based on margin, structure, and performance tiers)
On-Target Earnings (OTE): $115,000–$135,000+ in Year 1, with upside beyond $150K by Year 3
