    Position Overview:

    As a Business Developer, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by acquiring new commercial landscape maintenance contracts across the South Bay region. This is a high-impact sales role for someone with a proven track record in service-based sales who thrives on building relationships and exceeding growth goals.

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • OTE (On Target Earnings): $125k – $150k
    • Uncapped Commission: Significant earning potential based on performance

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead Generation: Proactively source new business via cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events
    • Client Engagement: Understand client needs, challenges, and goals to design tailored solutions
    • Proposal Development: Create and deliver compelling proposals that showcase services and value
    • Relationship Building: Build long-term relationships with property managers, HOAs, commercial property owners, and decision-makers
    • Sales Execution: Negotiate contracts, close deals, and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
    • Market Knowledge: Stay informed on industry trends and competitors in the South Bay to stay ahead of the curve
    • Collaboration: Work closely with operations and account management to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction

    Qualifications:

    • Proven Sales Success: 3+ years B2B sales experience with a strong record of meeting/exceeding targets (service industry preferred)
    • Hunter Mentality: Skilled prospector with relentless drive and competitive spirit
    • Strong Communication: Excellent verbal/written communication and negotiation skills
    • Relationship Builder: Ability to connect with diverse stakeholders across property management and commercial sectors
    • Local Knowledge (preferred): Familiarity with the South Bay market, especially San Jose, Gilroy, Santa Cruz, Salinas, and Monterey
