    We're looking for a driven Business Developer to grow Teufel's commercial landscape maintenance portfolio across Oregon.     What You'll Do

    Business Development & Sales

    • Grow commercial maintenance revenue within an assigned territory.
    • Drive new opportunities through cold calling, networking, field visits, and in‑person meetings.
    • Present proposals, bids, and service solutions to prospective clients.
    • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and track activity in CRM tools (Salesforce or similar).
    • Meet or exceed activity and sales benchmarks.

    Client Relationship Management

    • Build long‑term relationships with property managers, owners, investors, engineers, and other key stakeholders.
    • Conduct regular client visits to identify needs and uncover new business.
    • Support Account Managers with meetings, proposals, and contract discussions.

    Internal Collaboration

    • Partner with Construction and Operations teams to ensure smooth handoff of new accounts.
    • Assist with PO processes and property mapping for internal systems.
    • Provide updates on pipeline activity, challenges, and market trends.

    Market Engagement

    • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to increase visibility.
    • Visit job sites and client properties regularly to stay connected to the market.
    • Conduct basic market research to identify trends and competitive insights.

    What You Bring

    • 5+ years of B2B outside sales experience (commercial services preferred).
    • Proven ability to generate leads, build trust, and close deals.
    • Skilled in negotiation, territory management, and relationship‑based selling.
    • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Valid driver's license and ability to travel across OR.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
    • Local market knowledge and service‑industry background are a plus.

    Pre‑Employment Requirements
