The Business Development Account Executive is responsible for driving new revenues for Home Care and Staffing Solutions, LLC dba BrightStar Care of Plano/North Dallas “BSC” in the Collin County Territory. The Business Development Account Executive will develop and secure referrals from targeted referral list by establishing and maintaining contacts that will develop into referral sources who generate weekly referrals. They will have a strong presence in the community and actively promote the BrightStar brand.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop new and ongoing referral relationships with targeted accounts for the purpose of increasing referrals and achieving revenue growth goals.
Demonstrate effective communication with the agency team and referral sources.
Educate referral sources and community regarding the referral process and our differentiators.
Collaborates with the Home Care and Staffing Solutions, LLC dba BrightStar Care of Plano/North Dallas “BSC” Case Managers on obtaining orders and clinicals for review, clinical review, and patient acceptance for services. Helps to ensure patient is home appropriate.
Understand the BSC Service lines and educate referral sources on our services.
Must also be current on local industry trends to represent and differentiate services in the local market.
Communicate the benefits of home healthcare services, skilled and non-skilled to both referral sources and consumers.
Utilize marketing materials in an appropriate manner to grow the brand in our local community.
Illustrate knowledge of major competitors and differentiators.
Compile marketing plan by assessing community needs, marketing strategy/objectives, identifying key accounts and the development of specific marketing action items with measurable goals.
Perform other duties as deemed appropriate by management or yourself
Meet or exceed sales goals
Conduct regular outside sales calls to potential and existing referral sources – 80%+ of job function.
Drive to each potential site to conduct these calls
Complete weekly sales plan
Enter all activity into CRM
As a Registered Nurse you are responsible for working with other medical disciplines (i.e., PT, OT, ST, to ensure coordinated services and that all the client’s needs are identified through the assessment process and addressed through the implementation of the Plan of Care and reevaluation and supervisory process.
Minimum Experience and Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management or communications, preferred.
Proven ability to generate leads and monitor referrals, to manage a sales territory, maintaining and building relationships with new and existing contacts.
A minimum of one-year experience in the home healthcare industry, preferred.
Experience with public speaking (in addition to presentation skills). Strong at persuasive and educational writing and speaking.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), Calendar
Ability to form relationships and maintain rapport with referral sources.
Ability to listen and communicate clearly, fluently and diplomatically (both orally and in writing).
Must maintain a well-groomed professional image.
Strategic thinker.
Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and follow through activities with time constraints and interruptions to meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and synergistically with a minimum amount of direction and/or supervision.

Environment:
Contact with clients under a wide variety of circumstances. Care provided in client’s living environment with varying situations. May be required to respond to emergency situations. Travel required. Position includes tasks that have the potential for exposure to blood and other potentially infectious material (OPIM) such as body fluids/tissues.
Personal Protective Equipment:
May include gloves, mask, eye/face protection, and disposable outer covering or lab coat.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the ability of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Visual and hearing acuity required.
Travel Requirements:
Visiting Facilities and Referral sources and driving to various referral sources, events and meetings.
Work Environment:
Field Environment: in the car, facility or business; talking; various noise levels; interactions with employees and referral sources; sitting and standing for long periods of time; bending and stooping required; lifting up to 50 lbs.
Using a computer for extended periods: typing, staring at a bright monitor or TV screen; using fingers, wrists, and arms; stress on back may occur.
