    About ProLift Garage Doors

    ProLift Garage Doors of Cedar Rapids is a locally owned and operated business committed to providing honest, dependable garage door services to residents and businesses in Eastern Iowa. Our team values integrity, customer service, and community engagement.

    We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Business Development & Administrative Assistant to help grow our business by building relationships with key partners and ensuring smooth administrative operations. This role will also support an additional consulting business for the owner with similar responsibilities.

    Key Responsibilities

    Business Development & Marketing

    · Place and manage yard signs in strategic locations.

    · Visit and build relationships with realtors, builders, and property management companies to increase brand awareness.

    · Research and create an event calendar with networking events, home shows, and local business gatherings for the owner to attend.

    · Assist with coordinating and scheduling sponsorships, trade shows, and community outreach activities.

    · Deliver marketing materials to potential partners and maintain an organized follow-up system.

    · Follow up on open estimates, and assist with maintaining CRM

    Administrative & Support Tasks

    · Track and organize marketing efforts, including leads and referrals from business visits.

    · Assist in scheduling meetings, events, and follow-up communications.

    · Support general administrative needs to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

    · Help with occasional social media updates, email communications, or basic marketing tasks.

    · Ability to work independently and take initiative.

    · Reliable transportation is required.

    · Prior experience in business development, marketing, or administrative support is a plus but not required.
