We’re looking for a driven Business Development Associate to own and grow our pipeline — and build a career in one of the most mission-driven corners of higher ed technology.
This is a rare opportunity to report directly to our CEO and learn from a proven industry leader. Depending on your experience, you’ll start by building your prospect base and running demos — with a clear path to grow into a Sales Executive role as you develop.
WHAT YOU’LL DO • Own the full sales cycle — from prospecting to close — targeting Directors of Financial Aid at colleges and universities • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities through outbound outreach, conferences, and referrals • Deliver compelling demos and proposals tailored to the needs of financial aid leadership • Develop trusted relationships with prospects and customers that drive long-term retention • Track activity, pipeline, and performance metrics in CRM and report regularly to leadership • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless handoffs and exceptional customer experience
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR • 2–3 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with a track record of hitting quota • Experience selling into higher education or public sector is a strong plus • Consultative, relationship-driven approach — you earn trust before you ask for the deal • Excellent written and verbal communication; confident presenting to senior decision-makers • Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment
Compensation: $70,000 base salary + commission — $100,000–$110,000 OTE Benefits: 401(k) matching, Health, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance, Flexible time off
