    Advanced Veterinary Care is Central Florida’s newest, privately owned urgent care and specialty hospital opening early 2023. We are seeking someone who is a great communicator, able to prioritize tasks, is detail oriented, enjoys a fast-paced collaborative environment between the urgent care and specialty departments.     Job Description - Business Development Coordinator

    Classification: Exempt

    Job Purpose –

    • This position is to act as the primary driver for referral consults and emergency and urgent care cases. This will be accomplished by maintaining communications and activities to a large range of primary care veterinarians and the public

    • In this role you will develop strategic relationships with primary care veterinarians in important key feeder markets for developing referral patterns by utilizing visits, marketing materials, social media, and continuing education programs

    • Uphold the principles of the hospital

    • This position reports directly to the Hospital Administrator

    Duties and Responsibilities –

    • Create and maintain primary care veterinary relationships through on-site visits, CE programs, email and fax announcements, newsletter, marketing collateral, and more

    • Provide thorough knowledge of our services to the veterinary community and public

    • Accountable for knowing area markets and clinics/hospitals, market potentials, and keeping current on changes that are taking place in these markets

    • Participate in industry and community activities, while also developing new and unique marketing projects and events

    • Function as a liaison with local veterinary medical association and other business and professional association in the areas

    • Manage our online presence on social media platforms

    • Achieves all goals while operating within required expense budget

    • Collaborate and work closely with staff doctors and leadership team at hospital

    • Responsible for upholding the spirit of the hospital by handling all necessary tasks that require attention

    Qualifications –

    • At least one year of Clinical experience in the veterinary field required, prior experience in Specialty, Emergency, and/or Urgent Care preferred

    • Ability to work independently while hitting target objectives and producing significant results

    • Strong interpersonal skills (communication, teamwork, empathy, and emotional intelligence) required

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
