    About the Role

    The Business Development Executive is responsible for growing and maintaining a network of business partners focused on manufactured housing finance. This position involves developing new relationships, onboarding partners, and supporting the growth of loan originations in the assigned territory. The ideal candidate has strong mortgage industry experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.



    Responsibilities

    • Identify, recruit, and onboard new business partners including loan brokers, retailers, correspondents, and credit unions.

    • Promote manufactured housing loan products and educate partners on program guidelines and processes.

    • Maintain ongoing relationships with partners through regular communication, site visits, and participation in industry events.

    • Track and manage partner activities, leads, and pipeline using CRM tools.

    • Monitor market trends, gather feedback, and report on competitive activity.

    • Collaborate with internal teams to support marketing initiatives and partner onboarding.

    • Achieve or exceed targets for new partner acquisition and loan volume.


    Requirements

    • 3+ years of business development or sales experience in mortgage lending or manufactured housing finance.

    • Proven ability to develop and grow a business partner network.

    • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

    • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

    • Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.

    • Eligible for registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (NMLS).

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.

    • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 50%.
