    Purpose of Role:

    Marex is seeking an experienced, strategic, diligent, ambitious, and proactive individual, responsible for a portfolio of Global Payments products. Intermediate level position with the ability to work autonomously, and also as part of a team and directly engage with clients. Commercial ability to maintain good relationship with clients and find new ones to bring flow.

    Responsibilities :

    • Set up operational procedures for Operations department for FX Settlements and Cross Border payments
    • Help Technology and Product teams to implement solutions for the cross border payments products
      • Hire and develop a payments operations team covering following aspects:
      • FX Spot Trade capture, confirmations and Settlements,
      • Payments processing - repair, approval of payments,
      • Payment routing function - selection of method payment, monitoring cutoff time,
      • P&L calculation verification.
      • Reconciliation of nostro accounts.
      • Investigation of missing/delayed payments, customer queries.
      • Monitoring of credit lines and sanction screening queues.
    • Help set up compliance, financial crime and fraud detection and AML processes and procedures
    • Act as an Operations liasion with critical client
    • Open and maintain accounts with correspondent banks and funding banks
    • Ensuring compliance with the company's regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges.
    • Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.

    Skills and Experience:

    • At least 12 (twelve)' of experience in managerial positions in FX-Payments business with a fintech or bank.
    • Must be fluent (Read, Write, Speak) in English and Spanish. Portuguese fluency is a plus.
    • Detailed knowledge of payments workflows for cross border payments, FX Trading and FX settlements, Compliance, AML and Onboarding processes.
    • Thorough knowledge of reconciliation and investigations in payments.
    • Expert level knowledge of SWIFT, Fedwire, US ACH, Fednow, CHAPS, Faster, SEPA, TARGET, other country payment infrastructures in developed, developing and underdeveloped countries.
    • Must know cross border payments regulations in various parts of the world.
    • Experience in implementing Payments, Core Banking/post trade systems, client portals, SWIFT alliance, reconciliations, Sanctions screening and fraud detection, customer service platforms from operational point of view.
    • Ability to interface with correspondent banks and experience in account opening and maintenance.
    • Proven expertise in innovation - should be able to come up with ideas for customizing solutions for our customers for operational part of their transaction workflow.
    • Acumen to ideate, adopt and implement new technologies such as GenAI, Stablecoins etc in payments operations.
    • Experience in working with and managing global team.
    • Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.

    Salary Range: $120,000 to $150,000 per year and eligible for discretionary bonus.
