    IEG is currently actively looking for an accomplished Salesperson who is passionate about working in the industrial electrical industry. This is a pivotal new role to help drive business growth across all branches of IEG. This person will share our passion and value our culture.

    What you will be doing:

    In this role, you will develop the overall strategy for growth for identified strategic customers in various industrial/manufacturing industries. You will provide business plan and associated marketing in partnership with operations. You will be responsible for the management and execution of these plans. You will work with and manage our inside sales group to help facility an efficient process in prospecting and finding customers. You will be expected to identify gaps and emerging requirements, perform market and economic analysis, conduct business intelligence, design and execute formal capture plans, and monitor competitor activity.

    You will ensure that the division maintains a healthy pipeline of opportunities and executes cost-effective win strategies to achieve annual financial objectives.

    Location:

    We prefer that work be conducted from our main office located in Charlotte, NC but are open to flexible remote working areas.

    What you will be doing day to day:

    • Represent Company at conferences and other events to cultivate leads and make new contacts.
    • Create specific strategies for prospects as required to close them as customers.
    • Meet established sales activity levels to reach monthly, quarterly, and yearly results.
    • Input and maintain prospect-related information in designated CRM system
    • Follow enterprise-wide sales processes and procedures (providing input as well).
    • Cold calling prospects and building multi-point relationships.
    • Identify, develop, and implement near-term and long-term business strategies that provide the business an opportunity to grow revenue at both the branch level and corporate strategy.
    • Participate in business planning activities, to include pipeline reviews, establish BD priorities, bid development, and proposal reviews.
    • Direct interaction with clients at a high management level, including interpersonal interaction and presentation of information and analyses.
    • Develop and foster relationships with key strategic partners across all industries and branches.
    • Assembles and leads multi-disciplinary teams to recommend new application and product features and strategy for the strategic account or territory.
    • Provide leadership to the BD personnel

    To be considered for this role you must have:

    • 5+ years of experience successfully selling in the Industrial Electrical Industry
    • Preferred to Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
    • History of successfully meeting and exceeding new business goals
    • Has strong ability to develop relationships with strategic customers
    • Ability to work together in a team environment.
    • Have a high-level technical understanding/competency of the industrial electrical industry
    • A strategic mindset
    • A collaborative approach with the ability to adapt and lead

    Personal Competencies:

    • Effective communication skills both written and verbal
    • Microsoft Office proficiency and tech savviness and required. E.g., Zoom, Teams, LinkedIn Navigator, Salesforce, etc Oral and written communication
    • Sense of urgency necessary to meet goals, objectives, and deadlines
    • Professional Grade Executive Sales Presentation skills
    • Ability to interact in build relationships at all levels of the organization
    • Negotiation skills
    • Problem-solving and critical thinking to overcome obstacle
    • Self-starter: ability to work in a fast-paced environment

    Pay Range:

    • Base Salary $90K - $120K (based on experience)
