    Overview
    We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to drive growth and oversee a defined market sector within a region or business unit. This role partners with senior leadership to expand client opportunities, develop future business strategies, and establish financial and operational goals. The position combines executive-level leadership with hands-on client development, technical oversight, and team building.

    Key Responsibilities

    Leadership and Direction

    • Provide oversight and direction for a department or business unit, including strategy, budgeting, staffing, and deliverables.

    • Hire, mentor, and develop staff, including future leaders.

    • Manage performance evaluations, training, development, and employee relations to ensure high-performing teams.

    • Align staff goals and resources with organizational priorities.

    Operational and Strategic Growth

    • Deliver executive-level leadership and provide strategic direction for the market sector.

    • Partner with business development teams to identify, pursue, and secure new client opportunities.

    • Establish and execute annual business plans, including revenue and growth strategies.

    • Nurture existing client relationships while developing new business opportunities.

    • Ensure financial performance, profitability, and achievement of growth objectives.

    Project and Client Engagement

    • Lead multi-disciplinary teams, providing project oversight and technical guidance.

    • Serve as a thought leader within the organization and industry.

    • Ensure proposals, deliverables, and agreements meet the highest quality standards.

    • Represent the company at industry events and client meetings, building strong partnerships and expanding market presence.

    • Track market opportunities and organize pursuit strategies across the region.

    • Provide high-level client service while addressing challenges and delivering strategic solutions.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Surveying, or related field.

    • 15+ years of progressive experience in the AEC industry.

    • Professional licensure preferred (PE, RLA, or PLS).

    • Demonstrated history of securing new business and expanding client relationships.

    • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performance teams.

  • Compensation
    $160,000 per year
