    1-800-Plumber + Air of DuPage County is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Business Development & Marketing Manager to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth across residential and commercial service markets. The ideal candidate will have proven success marketing and selling plumbing, HVAC, or related homeservice solutions to residential homeowners, apartment communities, property management companies, commercial facilities, and multi-unit housing operators. This role is responsible for generating qualified leads, building strategic relationships, expanding brand visibility, securing service agreements, and converting prospects into recurring customers throughout the DuPage and surrounding suburban markets. The successful candidate must be a strong communicator, relationship builder, and self-starter with excellent sales execution and local market development experience.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - RESIDENTIAL CUSTOMER ACQUISITION

    Develop and execute local marketing campaigns to acquire residential plumbing and HVAC customers

    Build brand awareness within target neighborhoods and homeowner communities

    Promote maintenance memberships and recurring service programs

    Generate inbound and outbound service opportunities

    Coordinate neighborhood canvassing and direct outreach initiatives

    Build referral pipelines through customer retention programs

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - COMMERCIAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT Identify, prospect, and secure commercial service contracts with:

    Apartment complexes

    Property management companies

    HOA communities

    Condominium associations

    Commercial building owners

    Multi-family residential developments

    Facility management companies

    Real estate management groups

    Retail and office property operators

    General contractors and local builders

    Responsibilities include:

    Cold calling and appointment setting

    Conducting in-person presentations

    Building decision-maker relationships

    Preparing proposals and service contract opportunities

    Negotiating service agreements

    Closing long-term maintenance and repair contracts

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS Develop referral and partnership channels with:

    Realtors

    Insurance restoration firms

    Property investors

    Local builders

    Chamber of Commerce networks

    BNI groups

    Facility managers

    Municipal contacts where applicable

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - LOCAL BRAND MARKETING

    Represent the company at networking events and trade associations

    Build visibility through community outreach

    Coordinate digital and local advertising campaigns

    Assist with promotional events and seasonal campaigns

    Strengthen local market presence for the 1-800-Plumber + Air brand

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - CRM & SALES PIPELINE MANAGEMENT

    Maintain accurate lead tracking records

    Manage prospect follow-up schedules

    Document client communications

    Report weekly pipeline activity

    Track conversions and ROI performance metrics

    Coordinate with operations for seamless customer onboarding

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE

    Minimum 3 years of proven business development, sales, or marketing experience in one or more of the following:

    Plumbing services

    HVAC services

    Home services

    Property management sales

    Commercial maintenance contracts

    Facility services sales

    Construction-related B2B sales

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Existing relationships with local property managers or commercial accounts

    Experience marketing within the Chicagoland suburban service market

    Knowledge of plumbing or HVAC industry terminology

    Prior experience selling recurring service agreements

    Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar CRM systems
