The role requires a strategic thinker with strong industry relationships and a proven ability to win profitable business.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Lead new business development efforts across the company’s manufacturing capabilities, including cable/wiring harness assemblies, PCBA manufacturing, Level 1–5 box builds, and forward/reverse logistics.
    • Leverage established industry relationships to cultivate new customer partnerships, develop compelling proposals, and negotiate profitable contracts.
    • Develop, communicate, and execute business plans to expand market presence and drive revenue growth.
    • Manage assigned sales territories and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
    • Collaborate with General Managers and Business Managers to identify target accounts—primarily in the eastern U.S.—that align with the company’s manufacturing strengths.
    • Represent the organization professionally, taking ownership of new initiatives and identifying opportunities to add value.
    • Create and implement strategic sales plans that support broader manufacturing group objectives.
    • Deliver persuasive sales presentations and collaborate with internal sales representatives to engage key clients.
    • Maintain and strengthen relationships with major accounts, negotiating and closing deals as needed.
    • Serve as a liaison between sales and other operational units to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction.
    • Analyze market trends to determine customer needs, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning.
    • Support product simplification and standardization efforts to eliminate low-value offerings.
    • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
    • Manage travel and entertainment expenses within budget guidelines.
    • Assist internal teams with the development of manuals, technical publications, and customer-facing materials.
    • Prepare periodic sales reports detailing performance, pipeline activity, and market expansion opportunities.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.
