Business Development Manager – Eastern Region

Drive growth. Build global trade partnerships. Shape the future of our Transatlantic & Transpacific business.

    About the Role

We’re seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Business Development Manager to grow our footprint across the Eastern U.S. with a strong focus on Europe and Asia trade lanes. This is a high-visibility, revenue-impacting role where you’ll build meaningful partnerships with importers, exporters, and supply chain leaders—and deliver customized logistics solutions that help them move goods across the globe.

If you love building relationships, closing deals, and navigating international logistics, this is a powerful opportunity to accelerate your career.

    What You’ll Do

    • Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow Transatlantic and Transpacific trade lanes
    • Build strong relationships with supply chain decision-makers across diverse industries
    • Identify client needs and present tailored solutions (ocean, air, warehousing, customs brokerage, and more)
    • Work closely with operations and pricing teams to deliver accurate proposals and quotes
    • Stay ahead of market trends, competitive activity, and global shipping challenges
    • Hit and exceed sales targets, KPIs, and growth goals

    What You Bring

    • Proven B2B sales experience in logistics or freight forwarding
    • Solid understanding of Transatlantic & Transpacific trade lanes and Incoterms
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
    • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally
    • Comfortable using CRM tools, reporting dashboards, and virtual communication platforms
    • Willingness to travel domestically (and internationally when needed)

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 10+ years of logistics or freight forwarding sales experience (Transatlantic focus is a major plus)
    • Knowledge of customs brokerage, compliance, and import/export processes
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
