    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for sales of Eurofins Discovery portfolio comprising of chemistry, pharmacology, both products and services within the assigned territory or region with the goal of achieving the sales targets for the region.
    • Proficient understanding of the drug discovery process and selling the portfolio to the US client base.
    • Prospect for the client persona that requires services or products for use in drug discovery.
    • Develop and support client relationships through various collaborative approaches including frequent face to face meetings.
    • Provide recommendations and feedback for operational strategy needed to meet client requirements.
    • Build and document territory and regional business plans that will define how sales targets will be accomplished. Update the plan regularly.
    • Report on competitor activities observed in the region/ globally.
    • Provide monthly reports against key metrics as defined.
    • Diligently utilize the company CRM, keep information up to date and complete.
    • Develop collaborative relationships with Sr. Leaders of the Eurofins Discovery companies in order to support their business and gain knowledge from them about the business.
    • Understand and utilize the various resources within Eurofins Discovery to accomplish the sales targets.
    • Maintain a high level of technical and application competence of Chemistry services for drug discovery and development and utilize this knowledge to achieve sales targets.
    • Promote and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction including 24- hour response times to customer inquiries.
    • Work closely and collaboratively with Marketing to design and implement territory and regional strategies to promote the portfolio and the Eurofins Discovery brand.
    • Utilize sales and marketing channels effectively including web site, ecommerce, marketplaces and participate effectively and proactively in customer events such as webinars, tradeshows and customer site events
    • Accomplish effectiveness in presentations to clients and internal teams.
    • Provide feedback and analysis to improve/adjust/expand the portfolio and marketing strategies.
    • Ability to travel approximately 30-40% of the time, mostly within the territory.
    • Complete expense reports per policy
    • Performs other duties as assigned including supporting sales colleagues as needed.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Proven track record in selling trade show sponsorships and exhibit space
    • Background in the technology, finance, and events sectors preferred
    • Professional fluency in Spanish
    • Ability to travel within North and Latin America
    • Exceptional customer service mindset with dedication to exceeding client expectations
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and present to mid- and senior-level executives
    • Proficient research capabilities to identify opportunities and market trends
    • Proven ability to understand client needs and tailor proposals to effectively meet those objectives
    • Proficient in utilizing Salesforce for account management, pipeline tracking, and reporting
    • Well-versed in Microsoft Office tools

    Salary range: $85,000 - $95,000, plus commission
