Own the entire sales cycle end-to-end: prospecting → discovery → proposal/quote → negotiation → close → handoff and follow-up
Build and manage a consistent pipeline, forecasting accurately and driving opportunities to close
Develop and execute new sales strategies, outbound initiatives, and partnership opportunities to drive revenue growth
Serve as the point person for key client conversations, including client reviews and product/service fit discussions
Create and present sales reports, pipeline updates, and performance insights to leadership and stakeholders
Establish and improve sales processes, scripts, tools, and KPIs to increase productivity and conversion
As the function scales: recruit, interview, hire, train, and coach sales team members
Lead performance management, including goal-setting, feedback, performance reviews, and corrective action when needed
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure strong communication, smooth delivery handoffs, and customer success
Qualifications
Extensive experience owning and closing deals (full-cycle sales) and building pipeline
Demonstrated ability to create structure and repeatable process in a sales environment
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and operate with urgency in a dynamic environment
Proven ability to lead, coach, and grow a team as the sales function expands
Proficiency with basic computer programs (Microsoft Office suite); CRM experience preferred
