A leading global provider of contract manufacturing services for nutritional supplements is seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to support continued growth. This role is responsible for cultivating new business opportunities and expanding relationships with existing clients. The ideal candidate brings a solutions-oriented sales approach aligned with the company’s manufacturing capabilities and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
Deliver customized presentations to potential clients.
Attend trade shows, conduct in-person meetings, and participate in facility tours.
Convert prospects into active clients to meet sales targets.
Account Management
Set and meet annual sales budgets for assigned customers.
Implement account growth strategies to drive revenue.
Conduct quarterly client visits for business reviews, innovation sessions, and relationship development.
Reporting & Strategy
Provide weekly updates on project status and budget progress.
Maintain knowledge of competitive offerings, industry trends, and technical developments.
Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and minimum 3 years of sales experience; nutraceutical or supplement industry background strongly preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Willingness to travel 30% or more.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Valid driver’s license required.
