Job Description
PPW is seeking a strategic Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, the candidate will play an essential role by being a driving force in our company’s growth! In this role, you’ll collaborate with a talented team across departments to promote and sell our wide range of automotive parts within national accounts. We’re looking for someone with a proven sales track record, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and a passion for diving deep into expanding into other markets other than e-commerce.
Requirements
· 5+ years of strategic sales and account management experience in the automotive aftermarket.
· Bachelor’s degree required.
· Deep knowledge of aftermarket traditional distribution landscape.
· Solid understanding of new market driving force and opportunities at evolving new channels.
· Car enthusiast working on their own cars highly preferred.
· Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· A keen attention to detail.
· Excellent verbal and written communication, negation and presentation skills.
· Professional demeanor, cooperative team player, and go-getter attitude.
· Highly organized with the ability to work independently and be self-sufficient. · Attention to achieving results through metrics.
Responsibilities
· Build new and maintain existing customer relationships.
· Identify and prospect opportunities by conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and identifying target markets to pursue.
· Drive sales and generate revenue for the organization by developing sales strategies, negotiating contracts, and closing deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
· May perform other duties as assigned.
Job Type/Location
· This is a full-time, onsite position located in Irvine, CA highly preferred; Remote options can be considered for the right candidate.
· Up to 50% travel, some overnight travel may be required.
· Must have unrestricted US work authorization.
