Ag 1 Source is looking for a Business Development Manager to partner with retailers and distribution partners throughout the U.S., with a primary emphasis in Texas. What you will be doing:
- Identify and develop product channels to achieve sales revenue goals
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key distributors and retailers
- Partner with a variety of clients, including major retail companies
- Provide accurate estimates and forecasts of future sales to support company projections
A successful candidate for this Business Development Manager role will possess the following:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in an agriculture-related field
- 5+ years of experience in agriculture sales, marketing, and business development
- Strong crop-specific knowledge with familiarity in the regional market
- Proven relationship management experience with retail organizations and distribution partners, along with a solid understanding of their businesses and goals
- A track record of collaborating effectively with marketing, manufacturing, finance, and other internal teams to develop and execute strategies and initiatives
- The ability to travel extensively throughout the great state of Texas
Compensation: The salary range for this role will depend on the candidate's qualifications, with a base salary of $110,000–$150,000, plus a bonus plan.
