    POSITION OVERVIEW

    Position: Business Development Manager

    Location: Remote (with ~30% travel)

    Role Summary:

    A confidential manufacturing company is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead commercial efforts in the Electrical Manufacturing Systems space, focused on the Industrial Market. This individual will be responsible for building new client relationships, driving high-value opportunities, and collaborating across departments to deliver innovative solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • • Drive strategic sales efforts and business growth across industrial sectors.
    • • Identify and qualify new customer opportunities; manage full sales cycle.
    • • Partner with internal engineering, manufacturing, and leadership teams to meet client needs.
    • • Lead pipeline development and oversee direct/indirect sales teams.
    • • Utilize Salesforce for sales tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
    • • Support pricing and quoting, including margin analysis and resource planning.
    • • Represent company in legal and commercial discussions (NDAs, MSAs).
    • • Stay informed on market trends and competitive activity.
    • • Participate in monthly financial reviews and account performance evaluations.

      Qualifications:

    • • Bachelor’s degree required (technical or engineering field preferred).
    • • MBA or related business degree strongly preferred.
    • • 7–10 years of progressive sales or business development experience in manufacturing, ideally with medical device or industrial customers.
    • • Demonstrated success closing multi-million-dollar programs.
    • • Strong knowledge of industrial markets and customer engagement strategies.
    • • Willingness to travel approximately 30%.

    Work Environment:

    • Prolonged periods at a desk using a computer.

    • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
