American Family Care (AFC) is one of the largest primary and urgent care companies in the U.S. providing services seven days a week on a walk-in basis. Our state-of-the-art centers focus on the episodic treatment of acute illnesses and injuries, workers' compensation, and occupational medicine. Each location is equipped with an onsite lab and in-house x-ray capability.
AFC is the parent company of AFC Franchising, LLC (AFCF). This position works directly with a franchised business location. The specific job duties and benefits can vary between franchises.
Job Summary
To sell and market urgent care medical services to local businesses, physicians, and consumers. The main focus will be to grow the patient counts per day, increase the number of local businesses using our services, and brand American Family Care to the consumer through marketing and sales events.
Responsibilities
Increase the total number of patients per day
Develop strategies to increase market awareness of urgent care and occupational health services in the local area
Develop definitions of target markets, business opportunities, and customers through data mining, research, and experience
Represent the company through calling on local businesses, medical practices, presentations, or industry events and assume full accountability for the ongoing management of these opportunities
Develop and manage the departmental budget
Establish and maintain effective, positive working relationships with all departments, center, and corporate employees, and franchisees.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Develop and execute marketing strategies tailored to urgent care and healthcare services.
Design and implement advertising campaigns specific to DOT physicals and workers’ compensation services. Utilize and manage a pipeline system to track leads, conversions, and measurable results.
Create, manage, and optimize campaigns across digital, social, and traditional platforms. Build and maintain strong community and business relationships to increase brand awareness.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure effectiveness of campaigns.
Collaborate with leadership to align marketing efforts with business goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or relevant education
Successful experience developing, implementing, and achieving results with sales and marketing strategies
Ability to conduct face to face sales appointments, cold and warm calling, including but not limited to direct-to-consumer, business, and physicians
Strong organization and communication skills
Possess the skills to be independent, motivated, and results-driven in establishing new business, following through with communication with all accounts, and being held accountable for the growth of business
Proven track record of marketing success with measurable results (portfolio or case studies preferred).
Strong understanding of marketing strategies specific to healthcare/urgent care (required).
Knowledge and experience in DOT and workers’ comp advertising (required).
Medical knowledge or healthcare marketing background (preferred).
Minimum 3+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, or related field.
Skilled in using pipeline tools and CRM systems for tracking campaign performance.
Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently under a project-based structure.
