    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    ****The Business Development & Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting DHM's growth and visibility. As the coordinator in a small team, you need to be equally comfortable collaborating with the business development team and working independently. The Business Development & Marketing Coordinator will:

    • Manage, track, vet, and respond to qualified new business opportunities and RFPs.
    • Lead proposal development, including drafting, formatting, and assembling materials; assigning or delegating sections; and coordinating with partners.
    • Maintain the business development calendar, proposal library, staff bios and resumes, marketing assets, and DHM accounts on procurement sites.
    • Conduct background research on prospective clients and competitors.
    • Assist with scheduling and preparing for pitch meetings and interviews.
    • Draft and schedule weekly social media posts.
    • Lead and execute quarterly newsletters.
    • Support updates to the DHM website, ensuring content is current and engaging.
    • Provide administrative support to the leadership team.
    • Assist with internal communications and special projects as needed.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • A combination of 5 to 7 years of experience in marketing, communications, business development, and/or administrative support, 3 years of which must be relevant proposal management roles.
    • Exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and piece together complex information.
    • Highly structured and efficient in handling multiple projects and competing demands.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Mailchimp and WordPress (or similar tools).
    • This role has an in-office requirement and must live within a commutable distance to the applicable local office.
