We seek an experienced and driven Development/Advancement Officer looking to make a change of career to focus on the ultra-high net worth world. This opportunity would be for business development at Aaron Wealth Advisors (AWA). This individual plays a critical role within AWA and is responsible for developing new relationships with individuals, families, businesses, and nonprofits by building awareness of the firm’s capabilities locally and nationally. This seasoned, well-connected individual will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand our client base as well as collaborating with the Family Wealth Advisor team to coordinate, tailor, and manage the delivery of services to new clients. This position requires a unique blend of client-facing skills, relationship building ability, financial acumen and analytical prowess.

Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify target clients utilizing most relevant information sources
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to the specific needs and objectives of prospective clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with centers of influence (attorneys, accountants, etc.) to generate referrals and new business leads
- Participate in exclusive networking groups, events, conferences, and industry forums to promote the firm's services and expertise
- Collaborate with AWA cross-functional teams to develop and implement targeted business development strategies
- Track and report on business development metrics, including pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue targets
- Collaborate with the AWA Family Wealth Advisor team to seamlessly deliver services to new clients
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field; an MBA or other advanced degree is preferred (i.e. CFA)
- Proven track record in business development
- Experience working with partners/senior executives
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and effectively present complex financial information
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with prospects and attend industry events
- Self-motivated, independent, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficient in CRM databases (Salesforce preferred), familiarity with relevant financial tools and resources

Compensation & Benefits:
- $175,000+ Total Compensation (including bi-monthly draw and quarterly commissions), highly competitive compensation structure with significant performance upside potential.
