An established plaintiff personal injury practice is seeking a Senior Director of Referral Relationships to lead and elevate its referral network strategy and business development initiatives. This is a highly visible, senior-level role focused on cultivating strong attorney relationships and building a consistent, scalable pipeline of referral-based work.
The position blends strategic planning with hands-on execution and requires a professional who can operate as a trusted partner to firm leadership. The role is centered on relationship management, not transactional sales.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of referral relationship strategy
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with referral attorneys and firms
- Coordinate outreach efforts and manage ongoing engagement
- Track referral opportunities and ensure timely follow-ups
- Reactivate dormant referral sources and expand network activity
- Create structured systems for managing referral pipelines
- Collaborate with partners on external engagement strategies
- Oversee marketing and visibility initiatives, including newsletters, events, and conferences
- Ensure organization and consistency across business development efforts
- Enhance overall market presence through strategic outreach
Required Experience
- Background in legal business development, attorney relations, or professional services
