Bemana is recruiting a Business Development Representative for a nationwide provider of electrical products and services to the utility industry. This person will cover the S Arkansas, Louisiana, and S Mississippi territory. Position is responsible for managing customer relationships and generating revenue by selling products and services to either direct customers or distributor customers.

Position offers:

• Base salary of $120,000-140,000 + bonus
• 3 weeks PTO
• 11 paid holidays
• Volunteer time off (VTO)
• Office closes the week of Christmas

Duties include:

• Responsible for managing a book of business for existing accounts.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales volume while ensuring service levels are met.
• Responsible for reviewing accounts and selling new business to existing accounts.
• Responsible for customer satisfaction and retention.
• Will provide assistance to management in devising sales plans and strategies.
• Report daily, weekly and monthly activity to Customer Segment Leader.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with concentration in business, engineering or management.
• Typically requires four to five years of experience within the industry.
• Work under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment.
• May consult with senior peers on certain projects.
• Requires medium level technical and financial knowledge to effectively estimate and sell solutions with some degree of independence.
• Solid product knowledge for the utility industry.
