We're looking for a high-energy, confident, and driven Business Development Representative (BDR) who thrives on connecting with people, creating opportunities, and helping prospective clients take the first step toward financial confidence. This is not a behind-the-scenes sales support role. You'll be the first impression of our firm—building relationships over the phone during the day and representing our brand at exclusive educational dinner events throughout the Charleston area in the evenings. Responsibilities: • Connect with Prospective Clients Make 100+ outbound calls daily (80+ on Mondays and event days) to prospects who have registered for or attended one of our educational events. Contact new event attendees to build rapport, identify needs, answer questions, and schedule qualified appointments with our financial advisors. Execute a consistent follow-up strategy to ensure every qualified prospect receives an exceptional experience. • Represent Big Money Retirement at Weekly Events Accurately document every interaction in Salesforce CRM. Attend two educational dinner events each week during evening hours. Set up event materials and ensure every detail is prepared before guests arrive. Welcome attendees and create a warm, professional first impression. Introduce the Lead Advisor and help facilitate a seamless event experience. Meet with attendees after presentations to schedule complimentary strategy appointments. • Keep the Sales Pipeline Moving Assist with event teardown and post-event follow-up. Manage advisor calendars and appointment scheduling. Complete post-event administrative tasks and appointment confirmations. Prepare and coordinate first appointment welcome packets. Maintain accurate CRM records and campaign updates. • Deliver an Exceptional Client Experience Execute follow-up communications through phone, email, and text. When volumes dictate the need, professionally answer inbound calls. Support client appreciation initiatives, welcome gifts, and referral programs. Uphold the firm's standards for professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance in every interaction. Qualifications: • What Makes You Successful We're looking for someone who naturally enjoys talking with people and isn't afraid to pick up the phone. You'll excel if you are: Highly motivated, highly competitive, and goal-oriented Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls Confident overcoming objections and building trust Organized with exceptional attention to detail Personable, energetic, and professional Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment A strong communicator both in person and over the phone • Qualifications Accountable and dependable—you own your results 2+ years of experience in business development, inside sales, appointment setting, customer service, or a similar client-facing role preferred Strong verbal communication skills Experience with Salesforce or another CRM preferred Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work occasional evening events (typically two per week) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Compensation: $50,000 + Incentive Bonus + Commissions
