Position Summary
The Business Development Representative will be on the front lines of Caliber’s growth engine, identifying, engaging, and qualifying new enterprise prospects across our portfolio of solutions. This is a great opportunity for an early-career sales professional who wants real ownership of a pipeline, direct exposure to executive leadership, and a clear path to grow within a fast-moving organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and identify enterprise organizations that would benefit from Caliber's Total Sourcing Solution across technology procurement, management, and governance
- Drive outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate qualified meetings and pipeline opportunities
- Support business development efforts tied to Caliber's strategic carrier partnerships, including Lumen Technologies, Verizon, and others, positioning our coordinated methodology as the smarter way to buy and manage telecom and network technology spend
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads, articulate Caliber's value proposition, and schedule discovery calls for senior team members
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM, including activity logging, pipeline stages, and contact information
- Conduct research on target accounts, industries, and decision-makers to support personalized outreach strategies
- Collaborate with leadership on messaging, campaign development, and go-to-market initiatives
- Participate in client meetings, vendor calls, and internal strategy sessions to deepen product and market knowledge
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing role
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a confident, professional presence
- Self-motivated with a competitive drive and a genuine interest in building a career in sales
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple prospects and priorities simultaneously
- CRM experience a plus; willingness to learn required
- Familiarity with telecom, technology, or enterprise software industries is a bonus but not required
