    Business Development Representative

    Ceeva is a trusted IT and cybersecurity partner for organizations seeking better support, transparency, and peace of mind from their Managed Service Provider (MSP). With decades of experience serving clients across industries, our mission is to deliver clear, secure, and effective IT services that drive business success.

    We’re launching an outbound sales program focused on helping prospective clients better understand their current MSP bill and cybersecurity posture—often revealing significant cost savings and risk reduction. That’s where you come in.

    Position Overview

    As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Ceeva, you will be responsible for prospecting and initiating outbound conversations with decision-makers at companies who may not clearly understand what they’re paying for from their current IT provider. Your goal is to secure meetings for our team to conduct pricing and cybersecurity audits.

    This role is ideal for someone who is organized, curious, confident on the phone, and motivated by uncovering opportunities that lead to meaningful change for prospects and new business for Ceeva.

    Key Responsibilities

    Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation

    Execute daily outreach via cold email, cold calls, and LinkedIn to identify and connect with decision-makers

    Use existing lists and build new ones based on Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) criteria

    Tailor outreach messaging to demonstrate understanding of the prospect’s challenges

    Appointment Setting & Follow-Up

    Secure meetings for the Ceeva team to perform pricing and cybersecurity audits

    Handle scheduling, confirmations, and reminders to ensure high attendance

    Follow up with prospects who express interest or request additional information

    Audit Awareness & Positioning

    Clearly explain the purpose of Ceeva’s pricing and cybersecurity audit

    Communicate the value of transparent billing and proactive cybersecurity planning

    Qualify prospects and articulate why the audit is low-risk and high-reward

    CRM Management & Reporting

    Accurately log outreach activities and interactions in HubSpot

    Track KPIs including: emails sent, calls made, meetings scheduled, meetings completed, and no-shows

    Collaborate with leadership to improve messaging and refine targeting

    Collaboration & Learning

    Participate in training sessions and roleplay objection handling

    Work closely with the President and service delivery team to align on goals and feedback

    Stay informed about industry trends and MSP market competition

    Success Metrics

    Number of outreach activities completed (email + phone)

    Number of audit meetings scheduled

    Audit meeting attendance rate

    Consistent activity logging in HubSpot

    Ideal Candidate Traits

    Associate degree required

    Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Confident making cold calls and engaging decision-makers

    Curious and quick to learn technical and service-related details

    Highly organized, self-motivated, and coachable

    Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred)

    Prior experience in B2B prospecting or appointment-setting preferred
