The Business Development Representative will be responsible for building a portfolio of prospective clients for Channel Fusion. The main function of the BDR is to engage with leads through various contact mentions including phone, email, LinkedIn and other lead generation tools to understand business initiatives and identify and pipeline potential clients. The BDR will conduct discovery and qualification meetings with prospective clients in order to understand their channel marketing program needs and outcomes and communicate the value proposition of Channel Fusion. The BDR is highly motivated and driven to develop new business opportunities in targeted industries. The BDR will work independently on qualifying leads and in partnership with Channel Fusion sales and marketing team members as leads are nurtured, qualified and pursued. Duties/Responsibilities: * Identify and help develop initial relationships with prospective clients * Develop a strong pipeline of new customers through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting * Maintain a strong understanding of the company's broad range of channel program technologies and services * Effectively articulate our competitive differentiators and value proposition to prospects * Track activity in CRM * Establish rapport and build strong relationships with multiple levels of stakeholders * Manage daily and weekly KPI reports of sales activity, leads and opportunities * Generate appointments by means of proactive outbound prospecting * Work directly with sales and marketing to discover opportunities from leads Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: * Bachelor’s Degree preferred. * Proven skills in account development, opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call structure/control, and time management * Self-motivated with a diligent work ethic * High level of integrity * High level of organization and time management * Excellent verbal and written communications skills * Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment * Action-oriented with a desire to win * Excellent knowledge of MS Office, CRM software, PPT and presentation skills * Hard working, coachable, curious and continually learning * Demonstrate strong selling and influencing skills
