    Position Overview

    As a Business Development Representative, you will serve as a Vitality Hospice ambassador in your local market. You'll build awareness of hospice and palliative care services while developing trusted relationships with healthcare professionals and community partners. Your work will directly support patients and families by connecting them to compassionate, high-quality care when it matters most.

    What You'll Do

    Build Relationships & Grow Community Presence

    • Represent Vitality Hospice in the community through regular in-person visits and outreach.

    • Develop and maintain relationships with senior living communities, hospitals, physician offices, and other healthcare partners.

    • Manage a portfolio of assigned accounts using thoughtful, relationship-based engagement strategies.

    Support Referral Partners & Patient Access

    • Maintain consistent follow-up with active referral sources.

    • Communicate proactively and professionally with discharge planners, case managers, physicians, and community partners in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.

    • Respond promptly to inquiries to help ensure timely access to care.

    Execute Outreach, Marketing & Education

    • Support marketing campaigns, new program rollouts, and community initiatives.

    • Deliver educational presentations, in-services, and luncheons to referral partners.

    • Coordinate staff appreciation events and resident engagement activities.

    Track Activity & Stay Organized

    • Document visits, meetings, and outcomes accurately in the CRM.

    • Keep referral-source profiles and account strategies up to date.
