As a Business Development Representative, you'll thrive in an independent, field-based role as the face of Hale Law in the community. You will work autonomously across six Gulf Coast territories: Tampa, Brandon, Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, and Venice, showcasing your excellent communication and relationship-building skills with attorneys, medical providers, and community partners both in person and on the phone. Self-motivation and follow-through are key. Your role involves making regular in-person visits to referral partners, hosting events including CLE classes, running our Star Referral Program, and keeping precise records of your outreach and relationships. Experience in the healthcare or legal industry is strongly preferred. Because you'll spend most of your day on the road building a trusted presence throughout the region, a valid Florida driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle are required; mileage reimbursement is provided. Responsibilities: • Conduct regular in-person visits to attorney offices and medical provider practices across all six territories (Tampa, Brandon, Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, and Venice) • Build and nurture long-term referral partner relationships through lunches, drop-ins, consistent follow-up, and personalized handwritten notes • Implement and maintain the Hale Law Star Referral Program, including promotions, materials, and inventory • Plan and host referral partner events, including CLE classes, and represent Hale Law at networking events and community gatherings • Submit weekly referral reports and maintain accurate records of contacts, visits, and relationship status Qualifications: • Experience in business development, outside sales, medical liaising, or legal marketing, preferably in the legal or healthcare industry • Working knowledge of the Tampa Bay area and surrounding communities strongly preferred • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a personable, relationship-first approach • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision • Valid Florida driver's license and clean driving record, with willingness to travel daily across the Tampa–Venice region Compensation: $45,000 - $50,000 yearly
