    Position: Business Development Representative (Inside Sales)

    Location: Hanover, MD

    Compensation: Competitive Base Salary (commensurate with experience), 401K with company match, Full Benefits, Commission and Performance Bonus

    We are looking for a focused, action-oriented, and results-driven Salesperson to generate new revenue from new clients. The right person will find, call and meet potential clients in-person, demonstrating the DBA value proposition and then get their commitment to using our services.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:

    • Making strategic phone calls each day to targeted clients with expedited, sensitive, or specialized shipping needs
    • Identifying, researching, and finding new clients
    • Attacking verticals and industries that fit well with DBA service offerings
    • Excelling in Business Development working with Logistics, Operations, and Purchasing Managers
    • Obtaining accurate contact information for prospects and decision makers
    • Presenting professional and carefully articulated pricing options and shipping solutions to decision makers
    • Follow-up and follow-through while working hand-in-hand with operations to close and win business

    Qualification/Requirements/Certifications:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools
    • Hubspot, GoldMine, or other similar CRM software applications a plus
    • Prior experience with government or military sales, contracting, particularly in a sales or business development capacity, is highly valued.
    • Experience selling over the phone

    Education/Training/Experience:

    Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $60,0000 - $85,0000 per year plus commissions
