    Job Summary:

    Location/Territory: Inland Empire Reporting To: Director of Business Development

    This territory-based role located in the Inland Empire, responsible for driving provider engagement and referral growth across primary care, internal medicine, family medicine, and pediatric practices. The position is a key component of PNS’s commercial infrastructure, supporting the expansion of high-value referral relationships and contributing to the scalable growth of clinical operations across Southern California. The individual in this role will work closely with cross-functional teams to execute outreach strategies, monitor referral patterns, and strengthen partnerships with high-volume provider networks.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Market Development & Provider Engagement

    Drive referral volume from PCPs, internists, family medicine, and pediatric practices in the Inland Empire

    Develop a targeted territory plan aligning opportunities for highest yield considering: geographic density, referral base’s patient payer concentrations (e.g., LA Care, BCBS), and knowledge of processes within a practice.

    Identify and engage key decision-makers across front office, provider, billing, and insurance coordinators - “Total Office” call

    Sales Execution

    Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to close, with continued support to grow practice referrals

    Deliver educational presentations and materials to clinical teams, with emphasis on patient care benefits, streamlined access, and payer alignment

    Leverage CRM tools to track activity, manage outreach cadence, and prioritize high-conversion accounts

    Cross-functional Collaboration

    Partner with intake, marketing, and operations teams to ensure closed-loop feedback and optimize referral conversion

    Provide Voice of Customer (VOC) insights to optimize

    Work closely with Provider Relations professionals to align market-facing strategies, coordinate outreach efforts, and enhance referral partner engagement and satisfaction

    Performance Management

    Achieve monthly activity metrics, patient referral volume targets, and new provider activations

    Track pipeline metrics and conversion rates; adjust tactics based on performance trends

    Contribute to the commercial team knowledge base with real-time market intelligence and barrier identification

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    2-7 years of demonstrated success in healthcare services provider sales, preferably within behavioral health, or other provider referred specialty healthcare services

    Understanding of the Southern California healthcare ecosystem and stakeholders

    Successful history of applying a consultative sales model

    Strong ability to develop and leverage healthcare provider referral pipelines

    An understanding of all aspects of the healthcare services reimbursement and payer landscape

    Experience using an educational framework for informing clinical stakeholders on service offerings

    Understanding of all stakeholders within a referring healthcare provider’s office

    CRM proficiency and strong data discipline

    Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

    Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in healthcare administration, public health, or related field preferred

    Must reside in Southern California and be available for regular, regional travel

    Base Salary: $70,000-$110,000
