Snell Motor Company is seeking a Business Development Representative with preferred dealership experience to share their passion for the industry with our internal and external teammates. This role is responsible for organizing service appointments for the service department through inbound service leads as well as create and retain business through outbound campaigns. BDC Representatives are tasked with managing large amounts of inbound/outbound calls and emails in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Set up appointments for multiple rooftops
- Organize business through daily tasks such as missed appointments, calling online appointments for confirmation, reviewing pre-scheduled appointments for special order parts/confirming inventory, pre-planning and calling appointments aftersales, scheduling routine maintenance, and calling recalls.
- Constant communication with internal staff at different locations through email or phone
- Data input and sorting
- Report pulling and converting into data input
- May be providing phone coverage for service/receptionist depending on circumstances.
- May be cross trained to provide coverage to relevant positions such as service cashier (filing repair orders + data archiving) and front receptionist in Dallas. Cross-trained positions are subject to higher pay depending on performance.
Requirements:
- Must be able and willing to receive a high amount of inbound calls
- Partner with the service department to schedule vehicle service appointments
- Follow all dealership processes and procedures, high frequency of contact with customers
- Thorough documentation of all contacts within the customer management system
- Complete internet lead management service work plans on a daily basis
- Answer all calls in a prompt, professional and courteous manner
- Use scripts to collect all pertinent customer information and document in the system accordingly
- High volume incoming and outgoing calls, ranging from 50+ calls per day
- Greet customers and provide information on shuttle schedule if needed
- Contact and communicate with customers to identify automotive service needs
- Appointment setting experience a plus
- Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Team player
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background and drug test)
