    Are you a confident, consultative sales professional who thrives on building relationships and closing deals? Spirit HR is seeking a Business Devel opment Representative (BDR) **** to lead the charge in expanding our client base and connecting small and mid-sized businesses with our comprehensive PEO solutions. In this role, you’ll identify prospective clients, uncover their HR and operational challenges, and present tailored solutions in payroll, benefits administration, compliance, risk management, and employee relations.

    You will engage decision-makers through networking, outbound outreach, and in-person meetings – turning conversations into partnerships and opportunities for long-term success. As the face of Spirit in the Oklahoma City market, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue, strengthening our brand, and helping businesses thrive with expert HR support.

    What You'll Do

    • Prospect and qualify new business opportunities through cold calling, networking and referrals.
    • Conduct consultative sales meetings to understand the client needs and present Spirit HR's PEO solutions.
    • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline in the Oklahoma City area.
    • Collaborate with inside sales and operations teams to support lead generation and client onboarding.
    • Keep accurate, up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions in our CRM.
    • Represent Spirit HR at business events and networking functions.
    • Travel within Oklahoma City and surround areas to meet with clients and prospects.

    What We're Looking For

    • 2+ years of B2B sales experience (HR services, SaaS, or professional services preferred).
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Proven understanding of the sales processes, metrics, and best practices.
    • Self-motivated, results driven, and goal oriented.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field (preferred)
    • Familiarity with HRIS platforms and PEO services.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods while working at a desk or computer.
    • Ability to use a telephone headset for extended periods of time.
    • Repetitive motions with hands and fingers (e.g. typing, data entry).
    • Ability to travel within Oklahoma City and surrounding area.
    • Occasionally lift and move objects up to 15 lbs.
    • Clear speech and hearing for phone conversations.
    • Visual acuity to read from a computer screen, documents and small text.
