Business Development Representative
As our Business Development Representative, you’ll be responsible for identifying prospective customers, starting meaningful conversations, and qualifying new business opportunities. You’ll often be the first person a potential customer meets, so professionalism, curiosity, and a helpful approach are essential. Compensation: $70,000 base - $110,000 per year with commissions and bonuses Responsibilities: Identify and research prospective customers within our target market Contact prospects through phone, email, networking, and other outreach channels Respond promptly and professionally to inbound inquiries Learn about each prospect’s needs and determine whether our services are a good fit Schedule qualified appointments or demonstrations for the sales team Maintain accurate and current prospect information in our CRM Follow up consistently with leads throughout the outreach process Meet or exceed activity, appointment, and opportunity goals Share feedback about common customer questions, needs, and objections Represent Touchstone professionally at all times Qualifications: Strong verbal and written communication skills Comfortable starting conversations with new people by phone and email Organized, dependable, and attentive to details Able to manage multiple prospects and follow-up activities Motivated by goals and willing to take ownership of results Coachable, resilient, and open to feedback Comfortable learning new technology, including CRM and sales tools Previous sales, customer service, lead-generation, and business-development experience in the construction industry is required Compensation: $70,000 yearly plus commissions & bonuses
